If you are thinking about suicide

Call or text 9-8-8, the Suicide Crisis Helpline, any time, day or night, anywhere in Canada.

If there is abuse or violence at home

In Alberta, call or text the Family Violence Info Line at 310-1818, any time, in more than 170 languages. Elsewhere in Canada, you can find a shelter or support near you at sheltersafe.ca.

Finding a counsellor

Dial 2-1-1 to be connected with local counselling and support services across Canada. You can also search for counsellors near you, including Christian counsellors, at psychologytoday.com.

Your church family

Your pastor or church leaders can pray with you and often know trusted Christian counsellors nearby. Asking is a brave and good step.
