Questions and answers
What is Cord & Flame?
A five-minute nightly game for married couples. Each night mixes questions, guessing, little dares and laughter, and ends with something kind.
How long does a night take?
About five minutes. Short night takes about three, and optional extra cards are there when you want more.
Is it free?
Nights 1 to 28 are free. You can try the first three without an account.
Do we need to download an app?
No. It runs in your phone's browser. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Can we play on one phone or two?
Either. Pass one phone between you, or pair two phones so you can each answer privately.
Are our answers saved?
Never. What you type, choose or say is not saved or sent to us. On two phones, answers travel encrypted between your phones only.
Is it Christian?
You choose. The Faith track adds a Bible verse and a short prayer to every night. Classic is the same game without faith content.
How romantic does it get?
You decide. Many nights let you choose Sweet, Playful or Bold. Nothing is explicit, and there is always a no-touch option.
What if our marriage is in a hard season?
A private check-in sets a gentle pace with no romance until you are both ready. Cord & Flame is a game, not counselling, and the Help page lists support in Canada.
Who is it for?
Adults 18 and over in a committed relationship, made with married couples in mind.
Can our church share it?
Yes. Churches get a code, a ready-made kit and anonymous totals only. See For churches.
